Train in New York

• Today I traveled 18.6 miles with 3599 feet of ascent and 3816 feet of descent.
• Sweet Potato and I headed into Pawling for the day where we set up camp in the local park, resupplied at a gas station and ate at O’Connors Pub.
• The AT passed right over a train station that took us into town and the conductor let us ride without having to buy a ticket!
• There was also a small plant nursery and landscaping business, Native Landscapes, right off the trail that let hikers use their outdoor shower and sold cheap drinks and ice cream.
