Four Foot Fried Chicken

• Today I traveled 29.3 miles with 3678 feet of ascent and 2595 feet of descent.
• Pennsylvania has often been called Rocksylvania by NOBOs and today it’s lived up to it’s name. It’s not as rocky as one NOBO put it when she described it as “100 miles of walking on barnacles”, buts it’s definitely got some rocks.
• Near the end of the day I got some trail magic from Four Foot, a section hiker who’s crippled and hikes with arm braces. He was a sweet dude and had a tray of fried chicken.
• Mechanic Mike was with him and was the biggest yapper I’ve met on trail and I’ve met a half dozen world class yappers recently. The dude wouldn’t let a bit of silence hang in the air before going into a long story about his hikes.
