Spelunking in Front Royal

• Today I traveled 13.6 miles with 3104 feet of ascent and 2808 feet of descent.
• Today was an unexpectedly short day as we headed into Fort Royal for a speedy resupply and quickly learned that the town was with hanging out in for a while. We visited a bar that gave hikers 50% off their first 2 beers and grabbed a few drinks and a bite to eat. A previous thru hiker ended up picking up our check! Then we went to Spelunkers for a huge burger. I entered a food coma for the remainder of the day.
