McAfee Knob

• Today I traveled 10.8 miles with 2113 feet of ascent and 2828 feet of descent.
• This morning we got up to McAfee knob for sunrise. It was awesome and I made coffee and breakfast up there. There were only 3 days hikers up there. One named Mark had been up there 100s of times and showed us the best pictures he’d taken in the area. He also gave us some trail magic.
• We stopped in at Four Pines Hostel for the night. It was a decent spot but had an abrasive caretaker.
